Position Summary
The incumbent’s responsibilities will be to learn from the company senior legal advisors on rendering corporate legal advisory services. The talent profile that the company is seeking is a fresh graduate with no prior experience of working and seeks to learn about legal advisory services in a well organized corporate setting.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Assist in planning and coordinating legal activities of the Enterprise.
· Train on providing legal advice and counselling to all organizational components of the Enterprise.
· Advice personnel policy and procedures of the Enterprise are in conformity with the labour law, collective agreement and other pertinent laws of the country.
· Provide necessary assistance in drafting and interpreting all contracts, agreements and legal documents as to their legal sufficiency and protection of the interests of the Enterprise and as per the contract management policy.
· Collect and present an up-to-date file of legal notices, proclamations, legal codes and other legal documents.
· Participates in investigation of thefts, forgeries and misappropriations involving the Enterprise's property or funds and advice appropriate legal actions for the rectification thereof.
· Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on the technicalities of complex legal issues.
· Assist in conducting legal research and makes necessary preparation regarding collective agreements.
· Participate in advising the company senior management members on legal related issues
· Advise concerned bodies during a formation of new company, merger and dissolvance of business.
· Manage any legal process during the establishment new company or business ;Take a minute during in a legal related meeting
· Learn on providing necessary consultancy in issues related to Tax Law, Criminal and Civil Code for the organization
· Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager;
Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a renowned educational institution with a CGPA of 3.6 and above.
- No work experience is required.
- Eager to learn from senior legal professionals.
- Excellent reasoning and critical thinking ability.
- Clear writing skill.
- Fluency in communication skill in Amharic and English is mandatory.
