Job Summary

Our company is looking for a talented sales professional who will generate revenue by identifying business opportunities and closing deals for corporate various automotive product lines.  The sales professional is expected to have a solid knowledge in the automotive industry with a specialization in EV (Electric Vehicles) highly preferred. 

Job Description

  • Sell various company automotive products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and existing customers for the assigned region.

  • Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance, and recommending new opportunities. 

  • Communicate with leads and customers via telephone, or in person; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers.

  • Prioritize and/or escalate customer questions as needed.

  • Advise customers on appropriate purchase options.

  • Promote specific products as directed by the Company.

  • Inform leads and customers about current promotions and discounts.

  • Maintain positive business and customer relationships.

  • Introduce customers to new products that have been brought to market by the Company.

  • Maintain sales, complaints, and sales pipeline reports. 

  • Plan and implement personal sales strategy for the assigned sales territory/ customer segment.

  • Serve as an Account Manager to territorial customers and ensure they are provided with services that best met their expectations. 

  • Understand customers (agents) technical support requirements.

  • Communicate the need to Product Support and Training Manager for proper action.

  • Analyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development.

  • Find new customers and constantly expand the business.
    Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Job Qualifications

·         Education Qualification: BSc/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Marketing Management or in other related disciplines.

·         Work Experience: A minimum of 2 (Two) years of demonstrated work experience as a Sales Professional in Automotive Sector.

·         In depth knowledge on technical and market aspect of EV’s (Electric Vehicles) is highly preferred.

·         Solid experience as a Sales Professional in Automotive Sector (Bajaj or Three wheels motors)

·         Demonstrative skills in using all social media platforms.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Able to maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Takes initiative, adaptive, and willing to teach and learn from others.

·         Solid skill in Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Fluency in Amharic and English, written and verbal is highly required.

·         Willing to travel to various parts of Ethiopia to conduct various Sales & promotional activities/events.
