 Job Summary

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PR Coordinator to join our team. The PR Coordinator will assist in executing public relations strategies to enhance the company’s image and reputation. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for media relations, content creation, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to secure press coverage for the company. Respond to media inquiries and help coordinate interviews, press releases, and media appearances. 

·       Press Materials & Content Creation: Draft press releases, media advisories, and other PR content for internal and external distribution. Ensure the consistent delivery of the company’s messaging across all platforms.

·       Social Media & Digital Presence: Assist in managing the company’s social media profiles, crafting posts, and engaging with online communities. Support social media campaigns that align with PR objectives. 

·       Event Coordination: Help plan and execute PR events such as press conferences, media briefings, and product launches. Assist with event logistics, attendee coordination, and follow-up. 

·       Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage and analyze PR campaign results. Create monthly reports on the effectiveness of PR efforts, including media hits, social media engagement, and overall brand sentiment. 

·       Content Support: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align PR efforts with overall brand messaging. Help create blog posts, newsletters, and other communication materials. 

·       Crisis Communications: Assist in managing and responding to any potential PR crises. Help draft statements or responses under the guidance of senior PR staff.

·       Administrative Support: Manage media contact databases, organize press clippings, and handle PR related scheduling. Maintain an up-to-date archive of PR materials and company press kits.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 

·       Experience: 1-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations. Experience in corporate PR, agency work, or related industries is a plus. 

·       Strong Written and Verbal Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

·        Media Savvy: Understanding of media landscapes and how to pitch stories to journalists. Experience working with media outlets is a significant advantage.

·        Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and a strong understanding of how to leverage these for brand promotion.

·        Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
