Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering the AU High-Rise Building Project within the approved scope, budget, quality standards, and schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the AU high-rise construction project from commencement through completion and handover.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site engineers.
- Ensure implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Administer construction contracts.
- Evaluate contractor performance.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure implementation of company HSE policies.
- Promote safe working practices.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings.
- Submit weekly and monthly project reports.
- Report risks, delays, and mitigation plans
- Identify project risks.
- Develop mitigation strategies
- Mentor engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management (COTM), or a closely related field.
· Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience.
- At least 2 years of experience managing high-rise building construction projects as a Project Manager.
- Proven experience delivering complex commercial or residential high-rise developments.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
