Job Summary
To support the successful implementation of the Company’s strategy by implementing effective talent acquisition, motivation and retention strategies and programs.
Job Description
Lead the implementation of HR strategy, policies, procedures, processes and programs across the Company.
Monitor the provision of consistent HR operational services to the business and ensure effective and efficient service delivery enabled by appropriate technologies.
Lead the efficient supply of competent employees to the Company through the recruitment function.
Lead the timely and efficient recruitment and onboarding of the right people to the right positions in line with the company’s workforce needs and plans.
Lead the design and implementation of effective learning and development program.
Monitor the impacts of learning and development programs on the company performance.
Lead and manage the HR Operations team to provide a proactive, responsive and expert service across the Company.
Oversee adherence of code of conduct across the Company and take corrective measures when required.
Oversee the maintenance of personnel record keeping procedures supervise the processing of personnel transactions and the appropriate procedures for confidential personnel records.
Lead the investigation and resolution process of disciplinary cases identified and handled at the centre.
Interpret, Implement, and maintain quality assurance standards within HR.
Oversee the relationships with vendors to ensure that the Company is receiving cost effective HR solutions and that expected Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being delivered.
Implement employee relations programmes.
Monitor HR trends in the Company and identify initiatives to mitigate risk areas.
Manage regulatory compliance and reporting processes and activities relating to HR programs.
Focus on consistent service delivery and employee experience through the usage of a common set of tools.
Provide transactional processing to other HR and non-HR stakeholders.
Manage routine HR vendor relationships and monitor and control operational interaction with vendors.
Identify open position and communicate position requirements and plan.
Review selection criteria and posting content for relevant vacant positions.
Conduct interviews and select candidates.
Job Qualifications
Education Qualification: Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management or in related disciplines
Work Experience: For candidates with MA education credential six(6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years in a supervisory position or eight (8) years of demonstrated experience of which four (4) years in a supervisory position for candidates with BA credentials
Experience of working in a corporate/holding setting
Sound experience in recruitment and organizational development.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Takes initiative, adaptive, and willing to teach and learn from others.
