Duty Station: Horra Corporate Group Head Quarter, Addis Ababa 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

         Develop and implement the business unit strategy and plan according to the strategic directions of the Company.

         Lead the selection and monitoring of architecture, contractors and other partners and manage relationships to build long term sustainable business partners. 

         Lead the performance monitoring and evaluation of projects and services.

         Lead development of effective property and asset management processes, polices and work procedures.

         Lead the sales of real estate products and attraction of corporate customers. 

         Represent the Company related to real estate business unit issues.

         Ensure sales operation is meeting pre-defined targets.

         Ensure customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery of real estate.

         Collaborate with senior management to stimulate thinking on opportunities, organizational capabilities, to formulate strategies, concepts and solutions to business issues. 

         Maintain in-depth knowledge of real estate industry trends and contribute to developing better understanding of the business unit.

         Establish effective linkages between business unit planning processes and companywide planning activities to ensure consistency.

         Lead workshops with senior management to define business KPI’s and develop appropriate systems and tools in the performance management system to track these KPIs.

 

Generic Duties of the Position:

         Prepare the Business unit’s work plan and monitor their execution.

         Develop, approve and monitor the Business unit’s budgets.

         Identify human resources requirements of the Business unit and develop plan for meeting the requirements.

         Develop policies and procedures for the Business unit and lead in their implementation and continuous review.

         Review, approve and submit functional reports to relevant organs. 

         Support the development of manager through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.

         Oversee the systematic identification of skill and competency requirements for the Organization. 

         Manage disciplinary concerns emerged at department level. 

         Represent the function/business unit in external relationships.

         Take part in departmental decision-making process. 

 

Job Qualifications

·        Education Qualification: Masters in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or related fields.                                

·        Work Experience: A minimum of 12 (twelve) years of demonstrated work experience with at least 6 (six) years of leading Real Estate firm.

·        Solid experience in Real Estate Engineering, Project Management, Sales & Administration.

·        Experience in overseeing restructuring efforts.  

·        Excellent communication skills.

·        Excellent leadership and team management skills.

·        Able to maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

·        Fluency in Amharic and English, written and verbal is highly required.
